conform to the official blazon of Paris as defined by the "Arrêté préfectoral du 20 juin 1942" on 20 June 1942, approving the work of the urban heraldry commission of the Seine, which proposed to take again, by modernizing it, the design of the nave appearing on the seal of 1412. See Histoire du blason de Paris. See also the drawing on the 1965 French post stamp (by Robert Louis) and the colors on the official Paris website. See also Paris on the heraldry-wiki.
